Mmmm... bacon baps are good.
Our new laptop is playing up, which is highly annoying. Last night
jam_warrior successfully installed WoW, no problems at all. Then we set about getting Windows to our liking, and installing the things that came with the laptop. The wireless router works wonderfully - installed without a hitch. But after removing Norton Antivirus (in favour of the one we've already paid for) and installing the bluetooth phone Windows just stopped starting up. then it would start up, but not show the desktop. So we restored factory settings and started from scratch again. It was working for a bit, but this morning it won't start up again. Jam thinks it's struggling to cope with all the Windows updates it's trying to download and install, but that's just pathetic; this is a brand new machine, after all! And a fairly powerful one at that. I'm hoping once all the updates are in place it'll work okay and we can think about playing WoW, but for the meantime it's leaving Jam rather unhappy and worrysome.
And to think it comes with a free Windows Vista upgrade. We might be thinking twice before putting that little thing on our new machine...
