Ever reach a point where you just can't be bohered any more?
Things I care about:
My family and friends and fiance
Wedding planing
Firefly
D&D
Art
Teh Interwebs
Kittens
Things I'm losing interest in:
Housework
Cooking
Work
The economy
My Dad bought me Michael Rosen's Sad Book on Saturday. It's lovely, and it made e cry a little. Of course I remember Michael Rosen's funny poems being read out at Junior School assembly, so reading his sad stuff is very touching.
Yesterday I was meant to make a cake for all the pregnant people at work, and I forgot. We didn't get home fro Lymington until 9.00pm and I was very tired - I watched wo episodes of South Park but that's only because Tom wouldn't let me go to bed because 9.00 is too early. :P So I have to buy cake on the way in to work this morning. I'm annoyed at myself for forgetting - not that I would have had time unless I baked at my parents house - because I had been specifically asked to make my famous lemon drizzle pancake cake because people like it so.
Oh, and a couple not too far fro us have contacted us via meetup.com about setting up a D&D 3.5 game! While it will be very fun to play with our friends in Gloucester and Cardiff, I can't see games being arranged more frequently than once every 4-6 weeks. It would be nice to have some more local people and have a more regular game going. And the chance to play a druid, which is something I've always wanted to do but thought I'd lost the chance since they weren't available in v.4.

thoughtful
If I pay £1.50 for a piece of cake, I expect a decent sized slice! Not the piddly bit I was handed. I know it's charity cake, but it's still £1.50 a piece and I expect more than the kind of size you'd give someone who says "only a tiny sliver - I'm on a diet!"
Bah.
Bah.
- Mood:
in need of more cake
