I just had a seriously good charity shopping session. This was my reward for a number of things, including that fact that I am now up to date with pretty much everything in my life. Car insurance has been sorted out, and once the documents have arrived I'll be able to get tax sorted, and then we can go collect our new car! Woo! Although it's not as shiny a car as it was when it was purchased by jam's parents 18 months ago, since it's spent 18 months sitting in a garage corroding, and the garage said it won't pass another MOT without serious work. Oh well, a free car's a free car, and I'm still excited about driving it!
The other good thing is that all money matters are finally sorted - with the cheque from Evil Landlord now cleared and the Inland Revenue tax refund, I've got over a grand in my account! I was shocked to see this - of course a large amount of this is going straight into savings for boring stuff like house deposits and whatnot that's going to be a consideration in the future.
Part of my charity shopping purchases was a very nice and very kinky black leather dress that does strange and wonderful things with my boobs. I don't know when I'll ever wear it, but it's gorgeous! Maybe next Halloween... ;)
