I had my first wedding-related nightmare last night. It was your typical 'nothing is ready in time rush about like a madman' dream. All of a sudden it was August 09 and nothing was done! No invites, no dresses, no nothing. I realised that I hadn't heard from the wedding dress shop, so headed down there only to discover the dress they had put aside for me was some pink and yellow monstrosity with poofy sleeves, made out of the nastiest stage costume satin and with stains down the front! I had to have a mad rush round the shop trying to find a stock dress that might work as a replacement, but they were all horrible too! I put on a couple of skirt-corset combos only to discover after putting them on that the skirt part was actually shorts.

I can remember what my wrong dress looked like quite clearly. It was absolutely revolting! Like some 80s wedding dress throwback but in stage costume colours. I was reminded strongly of a dress I had to wear when I was first in Pirates of Penzance, which was cheap satin and candy-striped Barby pink. Euch.

I had the most awesome dream last night. You know how Dr Who has an assistant who travels with him through all kinds of nifty adventures?

Well, I was that assistant, only not with the Doctor but with sam Beckett! I was Quantum Leaping! How cool (and geeky) is that?

Also, with regards to my David Tennant vs John Barrowman question, I have to admit that Scott Bakula beats them both hands down. Sorry, guys, but my schoolgirl crush wins the day on this one! ^_^

Last night my dreams involved a combination of World of Warcraft and choughs. That's what I get for playing on the laptop while watching Spring Watch!

The other night I had a dream which for some unexplained reason had a song about the snowmen you build in Animal Crossing. Those of you who've played during the snow will know what I'm talking about. Those of you who haven't... well, you'll see!

Back at work, and too damned busy! Last week it was so slow, I got to play Anicam Crossing and Lost in Blue all day. Today I actually have to take calls! Bah! Why must people forget when the bin men are coming? Fools! I do have to remind myself sometimes that I am getting paid to answer the phone, and not play on the DS. Still, nice that I can do both at work. Geek.

I had a seriously wierd dream that kept repeating itself on me last night. I have a very bad subconsious right now. Why does my sleeping brain have some strange obsession with the my LJ friends? Specifically the female ones? No, it wasn't dodgy, it was just... disturbing.

Anyway.

Not a lot else going on at the moment. I'm planning on doing one of those insanely grown-up 'what I have been doing the past few months' emails and sending it out to all my friends. I think my New Years resolution is definitely to keep in contact with people more. I will endeavour to email my school friends once a month (maybe less often if nothing's happening in my life), including forced photographs and other dull stuff like that. If they just joined LJ like I keep asking them to then we wouldn't have this communication issue! But as it stands none of them like the idea of diarying online for the world to read (I have to admit it's something that scared me a little at first). Meh.

Oops, gotta go back to work. :)

I'm up and awake at 7.20, and I have no need to be! Why is my body suddenly yearning to be doing something when I could be snuggled in bed sleeping for another hour or so?

All I know is that when I woke up I was dreaming about Harry Potter. Am I turning into some obsessive fangirl?

Last night I was dreaming about Ryan and Tim from Scary Go Round. Something to do with the two of them, jam (the condiment, not my boyfriend), and a bathtub.
